NBC Moves 'Persons Unknown' to Saturday | Vulture → feedproxy.google.com

This show is totally fantastic, I really don’t want to see it drop away this early. Hopefully Saturday nights will still draw some viewers…. I agree, it would be a shame to not see anything resolved.

popculturebrain:

I was not expecting this. A virtual death sentence. And it’s a real shame because Persons Unknown, while not perfect, is pretty good for summer TV and pretty good within the mystery, sci-fi genre it operates in. At least they’re not canning it completely, without resolution. That would truly terrible.

#all about me
“It’s funny how one summer can change everything. It must be something about the heat and the smell of chlorine, fresh cut grass and honeysuckle, asphalt sizzling after late-day thunderstorms, the steam rising while everything drips around it. Something about long, lazy days and whirring air conditioners and bright plastic flip flops from the drugstore thwacking down the street. Something about fall being so close, another year, another Christmas, another beginning. So much in one summer, stirring up like the storms that crest at the end of each day, blowing out all the heat and dirt to leave everything gasping and cool. Everyone can reach back to one summer and lay a finger to it, finding that exact point when everything changed.” —Sarah Dessen

If you want to inspire creativity and achieve greatness yourself, avoiding the 3 C’s is an important place to start. It can be harder than it sounds, though. I struggle with the temptation to find fault in others, which only detracts from my own ability to do my best :/
